So, when designing private-label cosmetic packaging, what should be paid attention to? Improving efficiency is key to getting the product to market faster and saving time.

So, when designing private-label cosmetic packaging, what should be paid attention to? Improving efficiency is key to getting the product to market faster and saving time.
There are two situations for this:
The first is commissioning a cosmetic manufacturer to design and select packaging. This situation is easy to handle because cosmetic manufacturers have dedicated personnel responsible for this. For the client, after the packaging design is completed, it is sent to you, then you can see what changes are needed, provide feedback, and then modify and confirm the sample.
The second situation is when the client designs the packaging themselves. After completing the design, it is essential to first send the design to the cosmetic contract manufacturer so they can contact the filing personnel to check if there are any issues with the design, mainly regarding the patterns and text on the design. Some things cannot be included, otherwise, the filing may not be approved. Making modifications at this stage has no major cost. Once the design is correct, you can proceed to the second step.
The next step is packaging sample production, then shipping to the cosmetic contract manufacturer for the product filing process (10-20 days). During this filing period, the packaging manufacturer can start mass production, which can save production time, because production at the cosmetic manufacturer can only be scheduled once the packaging arrives.
